April Alayne is an artist originally from Maryland who currently resides in
Southeast Louisiana.


Drawing and painting since she could first hold a brush, April developed a unique and original style that is entirely self-taught. 


While cultivating her art career, April simultaneously achieved a decade of experience in the cosmetology and tattoo industries. After graduating with honors from The Temple (a Paul Mitchell Partner School) and becoming a certified graduate of the Brow Canvas Academy, she worked as a cosmetologist over 12 years. 


To foster her art, April sold her work at tattoo conventions, comic cons, art fairs, and street markets across the country. Her dedication culminated in the opening of an inclusive storefront and gallery in Baltimore. After three successful years, April closed the gallery to continue her creative endeavors in Louisiana.
